In association with Smiths Aerospace, Thales has developed a 2nd generation Flight Management System (FMS), called the New FM, for the Airbus A318/319/320/321 and A330/340 families.
Resulting from the combination of the complementary strengths of major avionics suppliers, Thales and Smiths Aerospace, the New FM is an advanced Flight Management System compliant with Airbus specification and meeting with the airlines forward fit, as well as retrofit needs.
